CEO Mai-Britt Zocca
Ms. Zocca is the company’s chief executive officer as well as the company’s CSO. She holds a Ph.D. in immunology and a Master Sc. in Biochemistry. Her Ph. D. work is performed at the Institute of Medical Microbiology and Immunology, University of Copenhagen and at the National Cancer Institute (NIH), Bethesda, Maryland, USA. Prior to joining DanDrit Biotech A/S she was a Senior Researcher at the Department of Oncology, Herlev University Hospital.
CSO Mogens H. Claesson
Mogens H. Claesson received the degrees of M.D. and DMSc in 1966 and 1977 respectively, both from the University of Copenhagen. He is an expert in cellular and functional immunology and has to date published around 200 peers reviewed research papers, as well as scientific reviews and book chapters on these subjects. He has previously held positions at the Department of Medical Anatomy, The University of Copenhagen as an associated professor, and held post doc fellowships in Melbourne, Toronto and Berkeley. Today he is a full professor in immunology at the Medical Faculty, University of Copenhagen. He has been the official opponent at numerous Doctoral and Ph.D. theses. His research is focused on experimental and clinical studies in tumor immunology and inflammatory diseases. He is today the leader of a group of pre and post graduate research fellows and supervises medical students working within narrowly defined research areas.
Head of R&D Ayako Wakatsuki Pedersen
Ayako Wakatsuki Pedersen joined DanDrit Biotech A/S in May 2006. She completed her PhD in immunology at University College London (UK), then post-doctoral study at Duke University (NC, USA) where she studied differential activation of dendritic cells and therapeutic application of dendritic cells in murine cancer models.
Head of Production Christian Munkholm Bechmann
Christian Munkholm Bechmann holds a Master degree in pharmaceutical science from the Royal Danish School of Pharmacy, now a part of the University of Copenhagen. His master thesis was written within the field of molecular biology partly at the Royal Danish School of Pharmacy and partly at Lundbech A/S. Prior to joining DanDrit Biotech A/S he was working at a Pharmacy where he amongst other things was teaching, had administrative work and handled costumer service.
